About the Role

The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in managing the performance of the branch to achieve the company vision and business objectives. The ABM effectively communicates the company vision and strategy throughout the branch whilst leading, inspiring, coaching, and supporting reporting staff to successfully implement our ‘Purpose to Promise’.

Branch Operations Support Summary

• Operations : Assists the Branch Manager in maintaining operational standards, inventory control, and asset management.
• Safety : Ensures OSHA compliance and documents all workplace injuries or illnesses.
• Human Resources : Aids in recruiting, coaching, and developing a high-performing team while fostering a motivating work environment.
• Financial : Supports business growth through vendor/customer relations, achieving key financial goals, implementing pricing strategies, and driving team accountability.
• Business Planning : Collaborates on goal-setting, progress tracking, and strategic actions to drive performance and align with industry trends.
• Customer Focus/Sales : Promotes a customer-centric culture, resolves complaints, and helps develop branch sales strategies.
• Communication : Encourages a positive culture, supports internal collaboration, reports key issues and metrics, and utilizes various business systems and software effectively.
