Job Description Job Description ParadigmWorks Group Inc. is currently seeking an accounting professional to join our dynamic team in Marietta, GA. to fill our Bookkeeper position. About Us: We are a provider of business and workforce services that include project management, recruitment, placement, career counseling and training services for the private sector and U.S. government agencies. We were founded with the intent of providing a vehicle for matching talented individuals with employment opportunities, career coaching and training across the U.S. Job Summary: The Professional we seek will prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and perform monthly bank reconciliations. In addition, the accountant will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings and general ledger reconciliation. Also, the accountant professional we seek will also assist in developing and implementing accounting policies, ensure compliance with GAAP and interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits. Role & Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and ensuring compliance with GAAP Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner Create and/or develop a variety of financial reports for governmental agencies. Requirements _ Education and Experience: _ Bachelor’s degree in accounting; or Associates Degree and 4-years accounting experience _ Skills and Abilities: _ Familiarity with government contract accounting is a plus. Strong QuickBooks Cloud accounting software skills. Familiarity with generally accepted cost accounting standards.
