Job Description

Day to day:

• Monitor and manage construction documents, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists, writing purchase orders (knows what this is, any relevant experience with PO)
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external contractors to ensure alignment on construction scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Understanding how to read, write PO justification and make proper edits
• Assist in planning and executing lab and infrastructure buildouts, including site walks, subcontractor coordination, timeline tracking, and cost monitoring.
• Maintain project schedules using construction-specific tools to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
• Track and report on construction progress, risks, and corrective actions across multiple projects.
• Support site safety compliance and collaborate with safety managers during construction activities.
• Remain adaptable to shifting site conditions and timelines, supporting multiple concurrent buildouts in a fast-paced construction environment.

Must-Haves:

• 3–5 years of experience in construction project coordination or management support roles.
• Ability to prepare diligent project close-out documentation, including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, and final inspection reports.
• Close outs: following up with vendors, follow up process
• Relevant lab or technical facility buildout experience (R&D labs preferred; data centers, cleanrooms, and chamber builds are also valuable).
• Strong familiarity with construction documentation workflows— especially RFIs, submittals, and project close-out procedures.
• Proven ability to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities while staying organized and detail oriented.
• Specifically experienced in reviewing, submitting, and tracking RFIs, submittals, and punch list items.

Pluses:

• Highly adaptable and able to thrive in evolving project environments.
• Proficient with construction scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar).
• Experience working with general contractors or on GC-led construction sites is a major plus.
