The Sales Assistant provides support to CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC’s (“CCM”) mortgage loan officers in their daily duties to increase loan production levels. The Sales Assistant works directly with CCM customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and facilitate timely loan closings. Job Responsibilities include assisting in reviewing mortgage loan application and documentation, reviewing mortgage loan disclosure packages and delivering them to the borrower, creating rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages, reviewing documents and entire loan files to prevent problems by highlighting deficiencies and notifying the mortgage loan officer and/or loan processor, clarifying/correcting information and obtaining additional information via phone, email, etc., providing general clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors, working with management to provide support in various stages and areas of lending and processing, assisting in managing a pipeline consisting of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, along with 203K and reverse mortgage products, delivering appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieving proof of receipt, tracking outstanding items on all loan files and following up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation, and facilitating timely loan closings by working directly with the Title Company and customer to schedule. Qualifications include a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, a minimum of 1 year of mortgage-related experience including customer contact, previous sales support experience preferred, Salesforce experience preferred, excellent communication and customer service skills, excellent prioritization and time management skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
