Material Handler needed in South West Omaha, NE!

$18.00 per hour

Mon-Fri 7am-430pm Shift

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our dynamic warehousing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our materials and products are handled, stored, and distributed in a safe and effective manner. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Move materials to and from storage areas and production lines.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Assist with packing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment, such as forklifts or hand trucks.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
