New York Licensed or Pre-Licensed Mental Health Clinician/Therapist Specializing in Athlete and High-Performance Populations Upper East Side Psychology is seeking a compassionate and motivated licensed therapist to join our growing practice. We are looking for a professional with expertise in working with athletes, career counseling, life transitions, high-intensity career individuals (e.g., executives, entrepreneurs, and creatives), and those striving to enhance their performance, motivation, and focus. The ideal candidate will also have experience in treating perfectionism, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges. Experience with performance psychology, sports psychology, or executive functioning coaching is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual therapy (opportunities for group, couples, and family therapy as well) to clients, focusing on career, performance, motivation, neurodivergence, perfectionism, executive functioning, and related issues. Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, or other goal-oriented interventions. Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress. Collaborate with clients to address areas such as work-life balance, stress management, focus, and productivity. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with practice and licensing board standards. Participate in regular team consultations and trainings.
