**Job Summary:**
You are skilled and reliable when it comes to editing audio content for podcast episodes. Obviously, creative too.
You will be responsible for enhancing the audio quality of our podcast recordings and ensuring that the final product aligns with the show's concept and style. You will also collaborate with our podcast host, producer, and writer to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our podcast content.
**Description of Tasks:**
• Edit raw audio files to produce high-quality podcast episodes
• Enhance audio quality, including noise reduction, equalization, and audio effects
• Follow script instructions to portray the intended content and messaging accurately
• Collaborate with our podcast host, producer, and writer to ensure the quality and consistency of our podcast content
• Review and proofread podcast episodes before publishing
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and metrics of our podcast episodes, using analytics and feedback tools
• Contribute to the development and improvement of our podcast strategy and guidelines
**List of Qualifications:**
• Proven experience as a podcast editor or in audio production, preferably in the food or lifestyle industry
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of audio editing software and tools, such as Audacity, GarageBand, and microphones
• Excellent editing and proofreading skills, and ability to edit audio content that is clear, coherent, and captivating for our listeners
• Passion and knowledge for meat and cooking, and ability to portray our brand, products, and services
• Knowledge of podcasting best practices and trends
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with attention to detail and deadlines
