Technical Analyst / Entry-Level

The Technical Analyst / Entry-Level reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing deskside technical support and technical support for end-users, systems, and hardware across our 2.5 million sq/ft campus, consisting of 3 hospitals and 3 free-standing Emergency Departments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, re-imaging computers, setting up network devices, configuring printers, installing and removing software, and troubleshooting end-user issues.

This role requires being on your feet frequently. You may walk up to 12,000 steps daily across our campus. Physical demands include pushing carts, lifting up to 50 pounds from floor to desk (for monitors, printers, networking gear, and rack-mounted servers and switches), crawling to connect wiring, and walking across the campus as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate information technology systems operations.
• Determine user needs and requirements; recommend improvements for systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff.
• Work under immediate supervision; primary functions typically do not require exercising independent judgment; report to a project leader or manager.
• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of technical support experience.
• May require an associate's degree in a related field and 0-3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and enterprise-specific requirements.
• Customer-focused support with a service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to manage tasks independently, prioritize based on needs, and communicate effectively with leadership.
